  All through my undergraduate years at UNL, Pla Mor was my absolutely favorite place to be on a Sunday night, and I definitely became a 'regular.' I didn't even know how to country dance as a freshman when I started going, but people are more than willing to teach you how to line dance, swing dance, or two-step. This is the only place with a big enough dance floor to do all three. The live bands are always really good and they always play great songs to dance too, so even if you just want to go and enjoy country music, its a good place to go. The atmosphere is amazing, and I have been to a couple of special events/receptions at Pla Mor, and the servers are always really nice and everything always looks great! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to dance or to just hang out and listen to some great country music! Now that I've moved back to the area, I'll probably become a 'regular' again! Can't wait!

  This place is the worst! The staff is completely rude. They continued to yell at my party and I all night. If this was my wedding night, it would have been a nightmare. The bar tenders are old and grumpy, you could tell it was way past their bedtime. I would never have another event at this place. Avoid at all costs!

  If I could give them half a star I would. My party's Pla Mor Ballroom experience was awful to say the least. We booked Pla Mor for a formal event because the venue looked nice and was a decent size the 100+ people we had coming. The staff seemed accommodating when we booked our reservation, but when the day of the event came they were cold, extremely inflexible and unprofessional to our party. New rules seems to surface constantly with regards to what accommodations were covered under our contract, where we could place/store features we had brought to decorate, where on the floor we could take drinks we had purchased and how long we had reserved our reservation for. Our party was extremely professional throughout our time at the ballroom. There were no instances of excessive noise, damage to property or indecency, yet they still constantly interrupted us. Those tending bar were irritable, unprofessional, and acted like we were a burden rather than valued customers. The staff eventually told us our time was up and we had to leave a half hour before our contract clearly stated our ending time of 12:30am had been reached. If you are considering booking Pla Mor for any formal event or party I would strongly consider looking elsewhere.
