  Nice bowling alley, reasonably priced with shoes available. There is also an area with several pool tables, a bar and grill and a retail area.

  The place has several pool tables and a fairly small bowling area. It serves alcohol and food. It is kind of pricey if you don't go on a day with specials. The thing I find the most aggravating is they hold your drivers license to bowl. Then they are not very good about giving it back. I payed and forgot to ask for it, so I had to go back. I think it is a terrible practice to hold someones drivers license. Especially since without it if caught is a crime. If you are going to ask and hold it, then it should be a priority to make sure the customer gets it back when they pay. Maybe get people to pay in advance, hold a credit card or open a tab. Stop taking peoples drivers licenses.

  Madsen's is old school bowling at it's best. Starting at the parking lot, it is big and well-lit. Once inside we were warmly greeted and offered explanation of shoe rental, costs of games, etc. My wife & I brought my grandkids & their significant others (ages 17 -21) and we all had a grand time. There was amble supply of balls available with different weights and finger sizes and the shoes were clean and in good condition. The automatic scorer had great visuals based on number of pins dropped. There is a bar connected to the facility that has standard bar fare at reasonable prices. It's a great place to take the entire family - as evidenced by the other groups we saw that night. While we didn't play pool, the tables appeared to be well-maintained. The staff is super friendly - wanted to be sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It's a great place - I'm hope the grands want to go again, I know I do.
